We've adapted our system to cater for small business owners and recruiting professionals alike. So to ensure your job goes online with a minimum of fuss, select an option that is right for you.

Via Web



Mission Control provides a secure interface to write job advertisements online and submit them to us for approval. Just login to your account and click the "My Jobs" tab to get started.

Via Email



Jobs can get added to our database by simply emailing them.
  • In the Subject, enter the title of the job.
  • In the Body, enter the job description.
  • Send the email to post@jobsisee.com
Notes
  • The email address that you specify must match your user account. If not, your the job information presented in your email will be ignored.
  • The email you send must not contain attachments, and must be less than 10KB in file size.
  • If you job gets added, we will reply back with a link that enables you to edit and submit the job for approval via Mission Control.
  • All formatting submit in the body of the email will be stripped, so for best results please format your email as PLAIN TEXT.

Via File Upload



If you've got a lot of jobs to load, and want a fast and easy way of getting them online then uploading via a spreadsheet is highly recommended. There is a choice of two template files:
  1. Excel 97-2003 Workbook (.xls)
  2. Excel 2007 Workbook (.xlsx)


To prepare your data:
  • Select a template that suits and begin populating the 'Jobs' workbook with data.
  • Most fields can be freely entered, but some must be entered by selecting from a drop-down list.
  • You can copy and post your job description to preserve HTML formatting.
  • The column headers are fully commented providing help in case you get stuck.


When done:
  • Save the file and upload it from the Publishing Options page in Mission Control


Notes
  • All job data is identified by its TITLE and REFERENCE NO. Both fields are mandatory.
  • Once loaded, the job data can be edited online VIA Mission Control or updated via subsequent file uploads.
  • Updates to existing job data will only occur if the job has not been previously edited

Via Data Feed



This option is recommended for larger companies that deal with job volumes. It works by you setting up a .XML file that is formatted based on our document specification that gets posted on your website and periodically 'crawled' for jobs by our servers.


To prepare your data:
When done:
  • Upload the document to your company website. The URL that you use must be freely accessible.
  • Login to Mission Control and enter the URL on the Publishing Options page.
  • We check to see if your document is formatted correctly BEFORE registering your url. If jobs are detected, the data is instantly loaded.


Notes
  • Our servers check data feed locations on the web once every day, and update the job database when new jobs are created.
  • You will be notified via email when data is detected that requires approval, in which case we will send you a link to view, submit or edit the job via Mission Control.
  • If you don't edit the job online, the job data will be synchronized entirely with changes made in your XML feed, which is located on your server.
