These companies and individuals may be located in a country whose data protection legislation is different from your country, and they will have access to your personal information as necessary to perform their functions, but they may not share that information with any other third party or use that data for any other purpose.

We will remain the data controller and be responsible for any information shared in this way. We may disclose such information to third parties if you consent to such disclosure. For example, if you make your resume "searchable" an accessible to headhunters, then all parties with access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) will have access to that resume data. If you indicate by configuring your profile that you would like to receive information about the opportunities, products or services of third parties, we supply your contact information to selected third parties such as employers, recruiters, data aggregators, marketers or others for the purpose of sending you e-mail or otherwise communicating with you.

5. How We Handle Your Resume Data

Jobsisee.com strives to provide job seekers with fine grained control over their resume data, providing a customizable “databased” version as well as a one-off filed “uploaded” version that can be made accessible to public visitors, employers and head-hunters based on user preferences.

When you create or post a resume to jobsisee.com, the data is stored in our searchable resume database that is accessible to users over the internet via a secure login.

You may control the status of your resume by setting your public profile to “enabled” or “disabled”.

A enabled profile means your resume is publically accessible to visitors via its own page URL. The data that gets displayed on this page is determined by the options you select on your “resume snippet”, enabling you to approve specific data that you consider to be non-personal in nature.

An disabled profile means resume is not accessible to public visitors, but it can be made accessible to employers and recruiters by setting the “head-hunter access” option to either:

(i) “allowed” meaning search access is granted to any authenticated employer or recruiter;
(ii) “limited to jobs I apply for” meaning search access to is granted but limited to jobs that are applied for;

When you apply online to a job, your resume will be transferred to the relevant employer, who may retain a copy of your resume or distribute it to third parties, subject to local law. We cannot control their use and retention of your resume information.
If you allow your resume to be made searchable by setting your head-hunter access option to “allowed”, then all parties with access to our searchable resume database (or copies thereof) will have access to your resume and any personal information contained on it. Employers or other parties with this access may be located in countries whose data protection legislation may not
be equivalent to the laws in your country. By allowing head-hunter access, you are expressly consenting to such transfers of data occurring.

We attempt to limit access to our searchable resume database to legitimate users such as paying employers, recruiters, hiring managers, head-hunters and human resource professionals, as well as law enforcement and national security agencies, but cannot guarantee that other parties will not gain access to this database. We cannot control how resume information is used by third parties while they are in our searchable database.

You may remove your resume from our searchable database by setting the head-hunter access option to “limited to jobs I apply for” and cancelling any job applications you may have posted. However, employers, recruiters and others who have paid for access to that database, as well as parties who have otherwise gained access to the database may have retained a copy of your resume in their own files or databases. We cannot control the retention, use or privacy of resume or profiles that have been downloaded by third parties. Accordingly, you should not put sensitive information, personality profiles, or other information you would not want made public, in your resume.

If you provide us with details of a reference, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person is aware that you have forwarded his/her details and has consented in writing for you to do so.

If you use our facilities to build a resume or to upload a resume into our database, then you will be providing us with personal data we will use in accordance with this statement.

If you intend to use jobsisee.com to help promote your resume and network with other users (which we hope you do), we advise you set your resume snippet to avoid data that is sensitive in nature.

Examples of sensitve data includes:

(i) racial or ethnic origin;
(ii) political beliefs;
(iii) philosophical or religious beliefs;
(iv) membership of a trade union or political party;
(v) physical or mental health or genetic makeup;
(vi) addictions, sexual life;

8. Data Security Measures used to Protect Your Privacy

8.1. SSL Certificates

Secure Socket Layer or "SSL" protocol makes it difficult a third party to intercept data from the point entered in your web browser, to the point it reaches a web server for processing. At jobsisee.com, we force SSL connections whenever sensitive data is entered, such as when you:

(i) pay via credit card;
(ii) enter your login credentials;
(iii) access login protected or "secure" page of our website;

You can tell when a connection is encrypted by a "padlock" or similar device that generally appears on the address bar of your browser.

8.2. Certified PCI-DSS Compliance

In accordance with the mandatory requirements set forth by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security initiative, the network on which our web servers reside has been scanned by a McAfee, a qualified independent scan vendor, to be PCI compliant.

To earn validation of PCI compliance, network devices being
audited must pass tests that probe all of the known methods hackers use to access private information, in addition to vulnerabilities that would allow malicious software (i.e. viruses and worms) to gain access to or disrupt the network devices being tested.

For more information on the standard, refer the PCI website https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org

8.3. Credit Card Payments Powered By RBS WorldPay

The standard for ecommerce is to require that all whenever credit card information is entered online, it is done so via a SSL protected page to prevent unuathorized viewing of card data in transit.

At jobsisee.com, credit card information gets entered via a page that is encrypted with 256 bit SSL and then sent to our chosed payment gateway RBS WorldPay for processing. Advanced real-time checks made to test for fraudulant cards, and transactions denied accordingly.

For more information, refer the RBS website http://www.rbsworldpay.com
